RACHELLE + ANDY RECEPTION
We joyfully invite you to Rachelle and Andy’s Wayside Reception directly following gathered worship for light desserts and celebration!
WORSHIP STATIONS
These options are available any time during the gathering for everyone.
COMMUNION WITH PHYSICAL ELEMENTS
Communion is available at all times at the front left and will be served directly after the Doxology. Available to all, this is a physical reminder of the death and life of Jesus Christ. Dairy-free, wheat-free bread is used.
THE CROSS
Come to the cross at the front of the room to light candles. Candles and lighters are available by the cross and the main aisle.
CENTERING TOOLS
Help your body feel grounded and your mind be present. Adult centering tools are available by each sound booth. Kids’ centering bags are available in the main lobby.
PRAYER + CONNECT CARDS
Cards are located at the welcome table and in the sanctuary by the candle supplies. You can place them in the large wooden box at the welcome table. Prayers are shared with our Monday Morning Prayer Group (anonymous prayers welcome).
Our goal is that all can enter into gathered worship knowing:
“I feel safe.”
“I have what I need to engage with what’s happening.”
“I belong here in this space, with these people.”
“I know what to do and that builds my self worth.”
CHILDREN
Children are always welcome to stay with their adult(s) throughout our gathering.
KIDS CENTERING BAGS
We invite all children to take a centering bag with them into the sanctuary. These bags will live at the church; however, kids are more than welcome to take home any consumable items (i.e. coloring pages) each week. Each bag contains: a visual worship order, a clipboard, something to color with, and a rotating item.
NURSERY
Children 3 years old and younger are welcome any time during our gathering for nursery care.
KIDS TIME
Every first Sunday, all children in the sanctuary are invited up front for an optional mini-lesson before being dismissed for Kids Connect.
KIDS CONNECT
Preschoolers - 5th graders are dismissed for an optional class time halfway through our gathering. Kids will meet at the bottom of the stairs with a safe adult who will lead them upstairs to the Kids’ Room. Children are invited to join in biblical or social/environmental awareness based teaching, craft time, and more. Please check your child out once our gathering is over.
SAFETY
We care deeply about the safety and well being of our community. Learn more about our Safety Policies, Ministry Application + Screening, and more HERE.
